Broken Soul, Faith Hunter's best Yellowrock book yet?

First let me confess, I haven't finished the book. I'm dying to finish it, but I feel like I need to convince others to read it too--especially if they have been reading the Jane Yellowrock series. So far there has been a lot of build up. I'm over halfway through, and the European Mithrans haven't even shown their snooty noses! And yeah, I could bellyache over that--but I won't. In the meantime we've met new strange creatures (maybe new), we've begun delving into a new side to the physics/magiks of how a shifter changes, and we've had a HooooOOOOooootTTT scene with Bruiser. Yes, Faith, you and Jane have very good taste (you too, Beast).

Faith builds her world layer by layer, now adding antediluvian myths (look it up!) and ooky-spookies in the basement. Jane lives in a world with good friends (whose relationships are never static), great guns, beautiful clothing (that rarely survives) and Harleys. Oh yeah, and Asheville, NC. She always mentions Asheville. Thank goodness Malaprops actually got some brains and invited her to come last year! I'm not sure if it is as good as the last book...but I'm not done yet. And that is bittersweet
, because when I'm done, it will be a year before another (probably)...so maybe I just stopped to do this to keep the sweet anticipation growing.

Keep it going Faith. Love your stuff and soooo anticipating some things you've hinted at recently. Glad to know you're not bringing the curtain down on this storyline anytime soon. Hugs!
